🧸 Buddy Needs Sort

Students revisit interview notes, toy observations, and picture prompts from Buddy Connection Day to sort evidence into categories such as color, character, texture, and play preference. In pairs, they use sticky notes, icons, and a large class chart to group matching ideas, then act out a few buddy play scenarios to notice feelings, problem, and needs. The teacher models how to turn repeated evidence into a need statement using sentence frames and oral rehearsal.
