Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
Content Expertise
Collaboration
Submission Required
Students revisit the redacted police reports, witness statements, transcript excerpts, and appeals pages from the case sprint to sort claims into corroborated details, conflicting accounts, and missing information. Using color-coded annotation and a shared evidence matrix, they identify which source features most affect credibility and which unanswered questions matter most for deciding whether the conviction should be reexamined. The class closes with a short protocol to compare how different teams prioritized uncertainty.
