🧩 Affinity Map from Refugee Stories

Content Expertise Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Effective Communication Collaboration Submission Required

Students use sticky notes, interview notes from guest speakers, kickoff poems/images, and source summaries to cluster evidence into themes such as belonging, displacement, language, family, and resilience. The class practices separating direct evidence from assumptions, then identifies which patterns matter most for an audience at the library exhibit. Each small group produces one labeled affinity map and a short claim about a community need their art could address.
