🎬 Stop Motion Science Noticings

Submission Required

Students watch a short stop motion animation film and use a notice-wonder chart to track how sequencing, movement, captions, and sound explain a science idea. The class discusses one 6th grade NGSS-aligned phenomenon shown or connected by the teacher, then teams create a 10-second test clip with classroom objects to model a simple change over time such as orbit, particle movement, or predator-prey interaction. Students save the clip and add 2-3 notes about what made the science easy or hard to understand.
