Students draft a problem statement and How Might We statement for their individual science research brief, then trade drafts with a partner for feedback. Each student gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback on clarity and evidence, and revises the statement so it names the user need without jumping to a stop motion solution. Students submit the revised statement with 2 pieces of cited evidence and a one-sentence note explaining how the problem will shape a later storyboard and prototype clip.
