Submission Required
With a journalist or media literacy partner, students sort a mixed set of short texts and images into claim, evidence, perspective, and framing categories. The mini-lesson models lateral reading, checking authorship, and spotting loaded language before students test the routine on new examples in pairs. Students finish by annotating one source card with a short credibility judgment and one reason it might influence public opinion.
