📚 Heart & Lungs Background Notes

Students read short informational texts and examine labeled diagrams about how the heart, lungs, and muscles respond to exercise. In pairs, they create a 6–8 sentence summary in their notebook explaining what scientists already know about heart rate and breathing during activity and identify one gap or curiosity their investigation could explore.
