🎤 Festival Standards Q&A Notes

Students meet with a local independent film festival partner in person or by video to hear submission standards, venue expectations, and examples of films that connect with public audiences. In pairs, students prepare and ask questions about audience needs, screening logistics, content boundaries, and what makes a student short memorable. They complete a peer feedback round on their audience experience briefs, giving feedback to 2 peers, receiving feedback, and revising before submitting a short project direction memo that will guide Phase 2 research.
