🥗 Gardener Talk and Tasting

Students meet with the school gardener and cafeteria team to compare classroom lettuce with school-grown lettuce using real plants or photos. They listen for similarities, differences, and care needs, then taste lettuce and discuss how it can be part of a healthy lunch. The class closes by co-creating a picture-and-word chart of questions about growing healthy lettuce and one shared claim about why lettuce is a healthy choice.
