Using mini whiteboards and their evidence logs, students solve two matched quadratics in more than one way and compare speed, error risk, and simplicity. The teacher models a concise claim-evidence-reasoning paragraph that uses math vocabulary such as factor, zero, equivalent form, and limitation. Students then draft a short written claim naming which method is most efficient for a specific type of quadratic and what evidence would be needed to prove or challenge that claim.
