Students revisit picture cards, quotes, drawings, and notes from Phase 2 and sort them into categories such as people, insects, birds, soil, clean water, and helpful plants. In teams, they move cards on a large floor map and notice repeated needs, including slowed runoff, shelter, food, and healthy soil. The class names 3-4 big patterns that should guide the garden design.
