Students complete the final performance checkpoint by explaining their runoff model and garden sign evidence to the teacher and peers. They point to how water moves through at least four materials or places, show how native plants help slow or clean runoff, and briefly tell how guest feedback shaped one final change. The phase ends with a weekly circle where students share how the garden changed for people, insects, birds, and the soil, name one way they helped care for living things, and add a final sentence or picture to their native plant sign about a family water or food story.
