Using interview notes, sketches, and color tests, students sort evidence into a simple empathy map with sections such as feels, shows, colors, and school moments. Then they draft a brief card naming the emotion they want to communicate, the viewer they want to reach, and 2 visual choices they plan to use. Teachers provide sentence frames and picture supports so younger students can respond with drawings, labels, or dictated phrases.
