🎨 Color Swatches for School Feelings

Content Expertise Self Directed Learning VA:Re.7.1 VA:Re7.1.1a Submission Required

Students test watercolor, colored pencil, or tempera swatches to match feelings gathered from partner interviews and self-observation. The teacher gives a short mini-lesson on warm and cool colors, value, and how color choices affect viewer response right before students paint. Each student builds a small color-mood strip with at least 4 swatches and oral or written labels explaining the feeling each color supports.
