✏️ Three Portrait Idea Thumbnails

Using mirrors, pencils, crayons, and colored pencils, students create three genuinely different thumbnail concepts for their expressive self-portrait. Each concept must change at least two features such as pose, facial expression, line quality, background marks, or color family. A short teacher mini-lesson reminds students to build from observed emotion evidence rather than making tiny variations of the same idea.
