🎭 Folktale Features and Audience Notes

Students read a short Chinese folktale in supported text sets, discuss character, setting, problem, and theme, and watch selected moments from a shadow-puppet demo to note how movement, voice, and music communicate meaning. Teachers model language frames for EML learners in English and optional Chinese key terms for characters and actions. Students record text evidence and audience-noticing notes in their portfolio to prepare for interviews and design decisions.
