🏮 Shadow Stage Celebration

Submission Required Grading Required

Student teams set up cardboard shadow screens with white tissue fronts, flashlights or desk lamps, puppets, script pages, music cues, and display artifacts for a rotating mini-theater exhibition. Classmates, camp staff, guests, and a local Chinese cultural association watch the performances, visit the gallery walk of puppets, shadow tests, and storyboards, and leave quick notes on clarity, craftsmanship, and how well each piece brings the folktale to life. During transitions, students complete the daily closing ritual with hand signals for collaboration, confidence, and shadow-puppet control, then share one concrete example from the day. After performing, each team gives a short artist talk naming one folktale detail, one design choice, and one revision made after peer feedback.
