Students watch a short shadow-puppet demo from a Chinese cultural association, capture notices and wonders about movement, music, narration, and visual style, and discuss the driving question. They then use quick paper cutouts and flashlights in pairs to test simple character motions and predict how a folktale could come alive on a screen. The class closes by naming audience needs, project products, and daily hand-signal reflection routines for collaboration, confidence, and puppet control.
