🖼️ Optical Poster Gallery Defense

Submission Required Grading Required

Students display their finished optical-art poster with a 1-paragraph artist statement and deliver a 60-second live critique or recorded video to rotating viewers. Audience members use sticky notes or a short feedback form to name one effective optical-art technique, one counterculture symbol, and one question or counterinterpretation; each student gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and makes a brief spoken revision defense during the second half of the rotation. The gallery concludes with a team comparative critique naming which posters most effectively used repetition, figure-ground reversal, contrast, and symbolism to shape public opinion.
