🗣️ Story Circle and Driving Question

Students sit in a whole-class story circle and share one short family, community, or popular story they know, then listen for patterns about why stories last. The class captures repeated purposes for storytelling on chart paper and is introduced to the essential question, "Why do we tell stories?" Students close by writing one story they might want to study or adapt later and one question they have about the project.
