🧭 Pollock Inquiry Plan

Students revisit Pollock images, 1950s headlines, and notes from the kickoff to frame one investigable question and a testable hypothesis about gesture, scale, or color. They draft a methodology plan in their notebook that names materials, process steps, what evidence they will document from trials, and how they will analyze whether their choices communicate conflict or freedom. Midway, students pause for the required partner talk to compare how Pollock’s methods and their own planned work communicate emotion without recognizable objects. They then give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback on question clarity and method quality, and revise the plan before submitting it as a progression gate.
