Students assemble a professional design brief that defines the problem, measurable success criteria, constraints, existing-solution research, and an initial test plan for a scaled boat. They participate in a design-review gallery walk where each student explains one design choice and shows evidence from test results, sketches, and revised criteria. After receiving teacher and peer feedback, students revise and submit the final brief as a progression checkpoint for Phase 3.
