🌊 Splash and Sketch Social

Students interview a partner about what makes a boat competitive, then co-build a paper-and-cardboard mini boat using index cards, tape, cardboard, straws, and foil. Teams test the model in a water bin for float, balance, and straight-line movement, recording measurements, photos, and observations in their engineering notebooks. The class closes with a quick gallery walk and the required boat-build check-in: one academic gain and one teamwork or self-management success.
