🔍 Brain-Chemical Claim Check

Collaboration Effective Communication Self Directed Learning Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Submission Required

Students use a verification protocol to test whether their claims about the prefrontal cortex, hippocampus, amygdala, dopamine, and serotonin are actually supported by notebook entries, source notes, and interview evidence. In a peer feedback round, each student gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises their evidence table and claim notes for accuracy and caution. Teacher conferences focus on overclaiming, missing links, and whether chemical effects are distinguished from the brain activity that triggers them.
