📝 Topic Pitch Speed Round

Students brainstorm 5-8 possible documentary subjects connected to family, school, hobbies, businesses, or community spaces, then narrow to a primary topic and backup topic using the filmability test. In pairs, students give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise their one-sentence focus so it is specific, accessible, and strong enough for a 3-5 minute documentary. Each student completes the Topic Pitch Form and ends with a brief stand-up share naming their focus, backup topic, and YouTube showcase goal.
