🧪 Fractional Tank Prototype Test

Critical Thinking & Problem Solving CCSS.Math.Content.6.G.A.2 Submission Required

Teams build a quick rectangular-prism aquarium prototype from cardboard, foam board, tape, rulers, and pre-marked fractional-inch strips based on the design brief chosen in the previous phase. They measure length, width, and height, calculate volume with V = l × w × h and surface area from faces or a net sketch, then record whether the prototype meets water-capacity and material-use targets on a test data sheet. The teacher runs a short conference station with each team to check one calculation, compare results to criteria, and name one required revision before teams move on.
