📈 Quick Plots and Residual Snapshot

Using Desmos, Google Sheets, or a graphing calculator, students generate a scatterplot, a provisional linear fit, and a provisional exponential fit from their collected data. The instructor gives just-in-time guidance on reading residual patterns and on using logarithms or base-e form to inspect exponential behavior without finalizing a full model. Teams capture screenshots or sketches of both fits and annotate where context supports or challenges each one.
