  • Create a simple materials guide template for students to record material name, use case, strengths, limitations, waste level, and recommendation for transit signage.
  • Set up labeled bins or trays for reuse, recycling, and trash so students can practice sorting routines during the activity.
  • Pre-cut sample sign shapes or blanks to reduce wasted class time and limit unnecessary material use.
  • Test all tools and digital devices in advance and place only the needed supplies at each station to support care, conservation, and efficient cleanup.
