🦴 Fossil Clues & Compare Tools

Using fossil replicas, dinosaur models, modern animal pictures, magnifying glasses, and size mats, the teacher models how to closely observe and compare evidence before making a claim. Students practice naming what they can actually see: shape, size, texture, footprint, teeth, tail, and body covering. The class co-creates a picture anchor chart for 'look first, say what you see, then decide.'
