Students meet with the teacher in small groups for a brief methodology check using their collected pages, photos, and sort records. The teacher checks whether each child has enough documented evidence for the next phase: one fossil clue, one body-part comparison, one size or sort record, and one museum or class observation. Students who are missing evidence complete a quick catch-up recording before moving on.
