🦴 Fossil Clue Recording Practice

The teacher models how to collect careful evidence using a fossil replica, magnifying glasses, picture icons, and a class observation chart. Students practice naming what they actually see first—shape, lines, size, and texture—before saying what they think it means. Children then record one fossil clue with a drawing and teacher-dictated words on their own evidence page.
