Students turn their draft question into a formal research-question entry for the DNA-to-Protein Evidence Notebook and prepare a short rationale using case notes, sequence evidence, and vocabulary from the mutation workshop. They participate in a structured peer feedback round where they give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback on clarity and investigability, and revise their own question and hypothesis before submitting. The final minutes are used for a self-directed next-step note about what evidence they still need in order to investigate the question well in Phase 2.
