🗂️ Argument Outline & Warrant Map

Students construct a detailed outline for their 5–7 page position paper: main claim, 2–3 sub-claims, at least two pieces of cited evidence per sub-claim, and a written warrant under each explaining why the evidence proves the point. They must also include a drafted counterargument paragraph representing the strongest opposing view. Teacher circulates for brief conferences focused on scope (1910–1920) and logical coherence.
