Students conduct the full mock trial performance with opening statements, direct and cross-examinations, rebuttals, and closing arguments before a jury of peers. Jurors take structured notes tracking claims, cited evidence, and treatment of counterarguments, then deliberate and deliver a justified verdict referencing specific arguments presented. Participants must respond to unscripted juror questions using named sources from their evidence logs.
