Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Effective Communication SCI.3.CC.2 SCI.3.CC.6 Submission Required

Students participate in a live biking demonstration with the P.E. teacher using a stationary bike. Classmates use timers and simple pulse-counting (15 seconds × 4) to measure resting and post-activity heart rate while observing breathing and muscle changes. Students record observations in a two-column log (What I Notice / What It Might Mean) and generate 2 questions about how exercise affects body systems.
