🔍 Patterns, Surprises & Noticings

Using their completed graphs, students circle the biggest bar or most common result and use sentence frames (“Most students liked…”, “Only a few chose…”, “I was surprised that…”) to interpret patterns. They mark one anomaly with a star and discuss why it might not fit. Students record a short written or dictated analysis paragraph in their notebook explaining what the data shows and what it does NOT show.
