Students conduct a live interview with a librarian or invited Vietnamese community member using a teacher-provided question guide focused on resettlement challenges and community contributions. In pairs, students practice active listening, record direct quotes, and ask at least one follow-up question. Individually, they complete a four-quadrant empathy map (Says, Thinks, Feels, Does) using evidence from the interview and briefly reflect on one assumption that changed.
