💡 Mural Idea Sprint & Crazy 8s

In teams, students review their How Might We statement and at least four direct interview quotes from their empathy maps. They complete a 10-minute rapid brainstorm (aiming for 15+ ideas per team) for possible mural features, formats, or interactive elements that represent refugee challenges and contributions in California. Students then complete a Crazy 8s sketch fold (8 quick thumbnail sketches in 8 minutes) individually, focusing on distinctly different approaches (e.g., timeline path, symbolic imagery, map of San Diego, quote-centered design).
