🧠 Empathy Map with Real Solvers

Students interview and observe two real users: one classmate and one adult (teacher, staff member, or visiting librarian if available). Each student asks the user to solve a simple addition problem within 5 using toys or fingers and watches carefully. The teacher records short quotes and observations on a large empathy map template (Says, Does, Feels, Needs) while students draw pictures of what they notice. Students complete an individual picture-based empathy page showing both users and dictate one thing that was easy or tricky for each person.
