🗣️ Interviewing Peers & Family Readers

Students learn how to ask open-ended interview questions and record exact quotes. They conduct one live peer interview in class and prepare 5–6 questions to interview a parent or family member at home about a favorite story and how its main idea shaped their thinking. Students capture direct quotes and note emotions or reactions. They briefly debrief how real responses compare to their original assumptions.
