🧠 Empathy Map for Grocery Shoppers

Individually, students complete a four-quadrant empathy map (Says, Thinks, Does, Needs) using evidence from the interview. They include at least one real quote and connect the user’s need to a specific fraction example (e.g., comparing 2/4 and 1/2 of the same pizza). Students write one sentence explaining how understanding equivalent fractions or comparing unlike fractions could help this shopper.
