🛒 Grocery Store Fraction Interviews

Students meet a guest from a local grocery store (in person or virtual) and conduct short structured interviews in pairs. They ask prepared questions about how shoppers compare sizes like 1/2 lb vs 3/4 lb or prices such as 2/3 off vs 3/4 off, recording direct quotes in their Fraction Researcher Notebook. Students listen for confusion about different wholes and strategies people use to decide which fraction is greater.
