🎥 Pollution Impacts & User Voices

Students watch a short video highlighting aquatic pollution and complete bellwork responding to the essential question about human impacts on ecosystems. After a brief whole-class discussion connecting to AP topics (turbidity, dissolved oxygen, biological oxygen demand, water sampling), students conduct two rapid interviews (teacher + one peer) about water use, perceptions of water quality, and concerns about local waterways. Students capture at least one direct quote per person and note assumptions they held before the conversation.
