🎯 Rounding Rally Scavenger Hunt

Students rotate in small teams to find hidden whole numbers (within 1,000) posted around the classroom. At each station, they round the number to the nearest ten or hundred using a mini whiteboard and either a quick number line sketch or digit analysis (0–4 down, 5–9 up). Midway through, teams pause for a strategy checkpoint where they explain one rounding decision to another team and revise if needed before unlocking a final team puzzle that uses their rounded numbers. Close with a brief whole-class debrief connecting rounding to estimating grocery costs and decision-making.
