Purpose

Learning goals

Students will understand and apply place value concepts to round whole numbers to the nearest ten and hundred. They will explore real-world applications of rounding in decision-making and budgeting. Begin with the "Rounding Rally" scavenger hunt where students search for numbers hidden around the classroom. Each number should be rounded
