🤠 Round Up Rodeo Interviews

Students begin with a fast-paced scavenger hunt to find numbers posted around the room (e.g., 347 miles, $289, 1,562 visitors) and briefly discuss how they might round them to the nearest ten or hundred. Then, students interview at least two real users (classroom guest such as a travel agency representative via video call, school staff member, or a peer about family shopping/travel experiences) using prepared questions: When do you round numbers? Why? How does it help you decide? Students record direct quotes and examples shared by users.
