🧵 Stitch Sampling for Symbolism

Mini-lesson reviewing chain, satin, and back stitch with focus on how line quality and texture communicate movement, borders, and emotion. Students analyze exemplar textile pieces and connect stitch choices to themes from Esperanza (journey, separation, hope). They practice each stitch on scrap fabric and annotate how each could reinforce their specific family story.
