🌍 Variables in the Earth–Moon Model

In small groups, students use a lamp-and-sphere model to determine which variables affect observed lunar phase (relative position, angle of illumination, observer perspective, date in cycle). Groups list independent, dependent, and controlled variables relevant to their investigation and discuss how to keep data consistent during the week of observations.
