🧭 Method Types for Plate Evidence

Through a mini-lesson using sample tectonic questions, students compare observational (map analysis), comparative (boundary vs. boundary), and archival (existing fossil/rock datasets) methods. The class analyzes which method best fits different sample questions about plate motion and why. Students annotate their own research question in their notebook, identifying which method type best matches and justifying their choice.
