Students watch a short video clip of a real rocket launch and a teacher-led baking soda–vinegar mini rocket demonstration. The class discusses initial reactions using the Essential Questions, then identifies possible community stakeholders (families, safety monitors, environmental advocates, STEM enthusiasts) who might care about model rocket launches.
